Students learn about the development of cinema, photography, TV, advertising, the power of the internet and much more. At the same time they also work on creative projects using their smartphones and sometimes their own computer at home. The course is taught by a native English teacher with a background in cinema and TV.
Practicing English and developing visual communication skills: Speaking, listening to and watching English for 30 hours in just two weeks will certainly improve their vocabulary and especially their fluency.
Exploring their creative side: Fundamental for intellectual and emotional growth, their studies and the world of work in order to develop their problem solving skills.

No-one knows what the future holds and how our lifestyles will change. It’s also impossible to predict how today’s teenagers will be working in tomorrow’s world. One thing is sure! Everyone will have to be more flexible and adaptable, and developing a young person’s creative abilities will better prepare them for an exciting and challenging future.
Ken Robinson, a leading education expert believes “creativity now is as important in education as literacy”. Many teachers, including me, share this view. I believe everyone has creative potential, but in too many cases it’s locked away and untapped by the traditional school programme. The idea for this after-school course is born out of the need to encourage greater creativity in students.
